The B&O 4-Axis Center-Drive CNC Turning Machine is configured with traditional heavy-duty B&O machine bases and turrets. The Center-Drive spindle is a high-speed design with a very short overall length and integrated workholding to permit the machining of the front end and back end of the part simultaneously. Not only does the Center-Drive configuration permit very high machining efficiency, but it also allows the critical surfaces at each end of the part to be machined concentric to each other. The B&O Center-Drive Turning Machine is very flexible and can be manually-loaded, robot-loaded, or configured with a B&O automatic barfeed to produce finished parts from full-length raw material. From oilfield tool joints, to hydraulic accumulator bodies, to axle housings, to conveyor rollers, to artillery shell casings, the B&O enter-Drive provides customers a simple high-production solution to their complex high production turning applications.
