The heavy-duty column-style 4-Axis Sub-Spindle design provides customers the ability to process complex bar and tube components with no diameter, weight or length limitations. Standard collet chuck sizes for the B&O Sub-Spindle range from 3.00" to 6.50". The flexible 12 and 15 station turret and tooling systems are made for taking heavy cuts while holding precision tolerances. Combining the Sub-Spindle Machine with a B&O automatic barfeed and a B&O finished part unloader, the Sub-Spindle System can produce finished parts from full length raw material in one fully-automatic operation. This includes parts with complex machining on both ends. Finished part lengths can range from full 6.00" up to 30-ft long. With heavier machine bases, bigger spindle bores, higher spindle and live tool horsepower, more rugged turrets and larger cutting tools, the B&O Sub-Spindle machine line leaves the typical commodity sub-spindle turning machine competition in the dust.
